Zhenqin Wu is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science at the University of Hong Kong (HKU). He obtained his Ph.D. at Stanford University (2016-2022), advised by Prof. James Zou and Dr. Vijay Pande, during which he worked on deep learning applications in various computational chemistry and biology topics. His current research focuses on developing novel artificial intelligence and deep learning tools to analyze and interpret complex modalities in spatial biology, including spatial proteomics, transcriptomics, and histopathological imaging.
